Quincy Outdoor classrooms

Quincy is the county seat of Plumas County and has three K-12 school sites in Plumas Unified School District.

In addition to outdoor seating areas on campus, Quincy schools have access to four natural outdoor classrooms within walking distance. Click on the thumbnail to see a short video about Quincy's outdoor classrooms.

Q Hill Forest Learning Landscape
  • Forest habitat adjacent to Quincy Jr/Sr High School includes Quincy High's "Q." Feather River Land Trust brokered fee title transfer of the Q portion of the property from a private landowner to Plumas Unified ​ School District. Within walking distance of Quincy Elementary School.
